Leslie Bazaldua serves as an Executive Assistant in Curriculum and Assessment at Touro University Nevada, where she supports senior academic leadership within the College of Osteopathic Medicine. In this role, she partners with faculty and administrators on curriculum and assessment operations, high-stakes examinations, committee governance, and compliance-driven academic processes central to medical education.

With more than fifteen years of experience across higher education, healthcare, and academic medicine, Leslie brings broad operational expertise shaped by work in multiple regulated environments. Prior to Touro, she supported academic leadership at Arizona College of Nursing, contributing to accreditation preparation and compliance efforts that supported a successful long-term accreditation outcome. She also worked at Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare, supporting medical and therapy leadership through clinical education coordination, residency program development, Medicare audit processes, and hospital-wide quality and risk data initiatives. In addition, she brings governance and institutional communications experience from Colorado College, where she supported executive leadership and the Board of Trustees and led large-scale digital communications reaching thousands of stakeholders.

Earlier in her career, Leslie contributed design and project coordination work within the Consumer Products High-End Home division at The Walt Disney Company, collaborating on branded residential and consumer design initiatives. She holds a degree in Interior Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. The daughter of an actor and a writer, Leslie grew up in Los Angeles in a multicultural household, an upbringing that continues to shape her perspective on creativity, communication, and inclusion. She is a lifelong Dodgers fan and a devoted mother to a neurodivergent son, and she shares her home with a Doberdoodle, two spoiled cats, and a ferret—experiences that inform her commitment to collaboration and building systems that support people as whole individuals.
