Dr. Agarwal, an American Board-certified pathologist (anatomic and clinical) licensed in the United States, has been a medical educator and mentor for medical students for over two decades.
One of his primary interests is simplifying the complexities of pathology and laboratory medicine (for students, para medical staff and physicians in the hospital and community) through education.
He has more than 90 peer-reviewed publications spanning various disciplines of pathology: anatomic pathology, hematology, transfusion medicine and chemical pathology; his research has impacted clinical practice.
Currently, he is the associate editor of Diabetes Research and Clinical Practice.
He has been on international panels to formulate the latest guidelines for gestational diabetes mellitus: a) World Health Organization, WHO and b) International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics, FIGO. Both WHO and FIGO, through their global reach, impact maternal and child health worldwide.
