Start Biography

Dr. Sadik, a Professor of Medical Biochemistry, was born in Casablanca. She completed her undergraduate education in Rabat, Morocco, and earned her MS and Diploma of Doctorate in Biological Sciences from the University of Science and Technology in Nantes, France.

She created the first elective course at Touro, Clinical Nutrition with Culinary Medicine in 2024. She obtained a Diploma in Holistic Nutrition and Wellness, making her a chef. 

She is a student-centered faculty member who advocates for mentors, advises, and involves medical students and graduate students in her medical education research projects. Her scholarly activities include writing chapter books and peer-reviewed articles, journal editing, conducting collaborative workshops, and giving national and international conference presentations.

Dr. Sadik was inducted into the National Academy of Osteopathic Medical Educators in 2019 and 2024. She received the Distinguished Career Award for Excellence in Teaching and Educational Scholarship in 2023 from the International Association of Medical Science Educators.

Dr. Sadik's most tremendous honor is the Wissam of Officer of the National Order of Merit, bestowed by His Majesty King Mohammed IV in July 2014.
