Start Biography

Meghann Plessner, MS, OTR/L graduated from Columbia University with a master's degree in occupational therapy. She has worked in pediatrics for the last 15 years; including outpatient, early intervention, school-based, and community (young adults). Meghann is passionate about working with children and their families to achieve their goals. She enjoys incorporating each child’s interests and creativity through play while tailoring their program and finding that “just right” challenge.

Meghann specializes in working with infants, children, and adolescents with developmental, physical, and neurological challenges. She continues to advance her skills in infant and child feeding difficulties (oral motor and sensory issues). Meghann has a solid knowledge base of evaluation and treatment of: Infant/Pediatric Feeding, Autism, sensory processing disorders, motor planning, handwriting, self-regulation, and adaptive skills.
