Understanding the 21st Century American Indian/Alaska Native Culture

Join the Native American Healthcare Ambassadors group and the Touro Nevada Stands for Justice Committee for a special presentation on American Indian / Alaska Native culture featuring Ms. Della Frank from the Clark County School District.  Ms. Frank is a coordinator in the Indian Education Department and currently serves 650 American Indian/Alaska Native students.  Ms. Frank is a descendent of the Apache Tribe and lives on the Moapa River Indian Reservation just north of Las Vegas.  She will discuss some of the disparities surrounding American Indian / Alaska Native healthcare as well as how providers can better care for the members of this community.
