Adrian Suratos, PT, DPT, MS, GCS
Adrian Suratos, PT, DPT, MS is an assistant professor in the School of Physical Therapy at Touro University Nevada. He was born and raised in the Philippines. He received his BS in Physical Therapy in 1993 from the University of the Philippines-Manila. He pursued an MS in Physical Therapy and completed a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology in 2002 at Florida International University (Miami). He then completed his Post-Professional Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of South Florida in 2013.
He has 30 years of clinical experience, starting his career as a pediatric physical therapist working with infants and toddlers (birth-to-three) in an Early Intervention Program. After a couple of years, he started working with older adults in the home health, out-patient settings, but primarily in Skilled Nursing Facilities. While furloughed during the pandemic, he acquired Board-Certification in Geriatric Physical Therapy and completed an MS in Anatomical Sciences Education at the University of Florida in 2023.
He is an APTA-credentialed clinical instructor and is in the Reaffirmation Panel of the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
