Clinical Rotations
As part of your physical therapy curriculum, clinical rotations will be a highlight in your experience at Touro Nevada. Your rotations will help you become a more caring and observant medical professional for your patients and community. With three different areas of rotations, you will find the perfect fit for your future.
Clinical Rotation Areas
You will gain experience in each of the following areas. You will become a compassionate and competent physical therapist. Our faculty and staff will work with to complete your rotation here in Southern Nevada, your home state, or another location.
- Acute Care: You will develop the skills to care for patients at acute-care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities (SNF), and/or intermediate care units of specialty.
- Out-Patient: You will gain experience in ambulatory care settings affiliated with hospitals, private clinics, and/or community agencies.
- Rehabilitation: At in-patient or ambulatory care settings, you will acquire knowledge to provide intensive rehabilitation services to patients.
- During your rotation settings, you will learn in rehabilitation hospitals, units, and/or ambulatory clinics serving adults and/or children with congenital, developmental or acquired disabilities.
