Received at least a 500 composite score on the MCAT submitted through AACOMAS.

Class matriculating in 2025:

  • Applicants for the class matriculating in 2025 must submit MCAT scores no older than June 2022.
  • January 2025 is the last test month that scores can be used for the 2024-2025 application cycle.

Class matriculating in 2026:

  • Applicants for the class matriculating in 2026 must submit MCAT scores no older than June 2023.
  • January 2026 is the last test month that scores can be used for the 2025-2026 application cycle.

Earned a cumulative and science GPA of 3.00 or higher.

Completed the following coursework with a grade of C or better:

  • 8 semester credits of Biology/Zoology with Lab
  • 8 semester credits of Inorganic Chemistry
  • 8 semester credits of Organic Chemistry with Lab
    • 4 semester units of Biochemistry may be substituted for the second semester of Organic Chemistry
  • 8 semester credits of Physics
  • 6 semester credits of English
  • 6 semester credits of Behavioral Sciences
  • 3 semester credits of Math/Statistics

Obtained a baccalaureate degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education prior to matriculation.

Submit three letters of recommendation:

  • At least one letter must be from your college science instructors or one premedical/academic committee letter. A committee letter must include all letter contributors' names and titles and must include at least two science faculty.
  • At least one letter must be from a physician (D.O. or M.D.).
  • Letters of recommendation should be sent directly from recommenders on letterhead and must be signed.
  • Recommendations are accepted via AACOMAS and Interfolio.

Have documented physician shadowing experience.

Demonstrate academic competence, personal/professional achievements, leadership skills, creative abilities, experience in healthcare and the likelihood of practicing in underserved primary care areas.

Must meet the DO Technical Standards, which includes the physical abilities necessary to perform as an osteopathic physician.

Hold U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status at the time of application.
