MSN-FNP Program Features

Curriculum

You could be caring for patients as an FNP after completing your MSN degree in just 20 months with courses held mostly online and three on-campus clinical intensives. 

Practicum Placement

We offer placement assistance for your clinical practicum experience. However, we know you may be in the best position to identify and secure clinical preceptors and practice sites within the community, so we will help you complete the correct documentation.

Certification

You will be prepared to meet eligibility requirements for AANP and ANCC Family Nurse Practitioner national certification exams.

MSN Accreditation

Touro University Nevada is fully accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) as a branch campus of the Touro University California school.

The Master of Science in Nursing degree program at Touro University Nevada is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Admission Requirements

You need to meet the minimum requirements to apply for the MSN-FNP program.  

Requirements Overview

  • Active RN license
  • Hold a BSN degree from a program of nursing that is accredited by national or regional accreditation body that is recognized by CHEA and by a nursing accreditor, including CCNE, NLNAC, CNEA, or ACEN.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Resume or Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal Statement

Complete your Touro application today and submit a non-refundable application fee of $75.

Deadlines

You must submit all required information to the admissions department by the deadlines.

  • Fall cohort - September 26 (Start Date: November 4, 2024)
  • Spring cohort - January 18 (Start Date: March 3, 2025)
  • Summer cohort - May 23 (Start Date: July TBD, 2025)
