I have been a practicing FNP since 2008 and have worked in multiple areas as an NP including family practice, urgent care, pediatrics, corrections, pain management and addiction treatment. I currently practice in family practice. My particular interests in this area are treating anxiety, depression, PCOS and educating patients on healthy lifestyles and their disease processes.
I love teaching in the FNP program at Touro University Nevada. I enjoy helping the NP students learn and transition to the new role as an FNP. I am always excited to interact with students and have discussions or provide any help needed as they move through the program and their clinicals.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and 3 boys. I like to be in the mountains and enjoy hiking, traveling, and yoga.
