Online Doctor of Education (EdD)
If you are a K-20 educator or health professional (PA, OT, PT, SLP, nurse, etc.), and are seeking advancement within educational environments, this is the program for you. The Doctor of Education degree is aligned with the community's needs for doctorate-prepared individuals.
Program Features
Curriculum
Your curriculum covers breadth and depth of administrative and leadership courses, providing current, relevant skills and knowledge to apply in your daily work experiences throughout the program.
You can choose to pursue a general Doctor of Education in Educational Administration and Leadership or focus your studies with a Concentration in Jewish Education.
Online Courses
At Touro Nevada, we understand the importance of balancing your professional and personal life while working towards your future career. This program takes just over three years to complete and is 100% online including two, one-week-long intensives in year one and year two.
Dissertation Component
You start work on your dissertation at the beginning of the program and continue to develop your dissertation components alongside your content courses.

Requirements Overview
- Master’s degree in any field
- Minimum GPA of 3.00 in most recent degree
- Personal essay and virtual interview
- Two letters of recommendation including one from an academic source
Primary Application
You must complete a Touro Nevada application and submit a $75 nonrefundable application fee.
Supplemental Information
You will also need to submit transcripts, a personal statement, and a CV/resume.
