Mayra was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She's a first-generation Latina. Prior to switching to healthcare, Mayra was a paralegal for 10 years. She became a certified Community Health Worker in 2018 through the College of Southern Nevada. Mayra is an avid volunteer, committed to making her hometown a better place.
