Parking Citations, Fines, Payment and Appeals
Any vehicle found on campus without a Touro University Nevada parking permit or in violation of any rules and regulations as stated in the Parking Enforcement Penalties and Fines Policy will be cited, and a status check will be conducted to determine the purpose and intent of the driver/owner.
Caution: Towing will be enforced if a vehicle or permit holder receives four violations in a fiscal year, or it there are any abandoned vehicles on campus regardless if there is a permit on the vehicle. Students, faculty, and staff are subject to losing their parking privileges if they receive four parking tickets a fiscal year.

Paying a Fine
You must pay your parking citation penalty in full through the Rydin parking management system within thirty (30) calendar days from the issue date of the citation. If the parking citation is not paid on or by 11:59 PM PST on the 30thcalendar day the citation penalty automatically doubles. Owner/operators who fail to pay citations or fines will not be permitted to purchase a new parking permit until their account is current and paid in full. Any future parking registration attempts by students, faculty, and staff will be blocked and transcripts (for students) will be held in suspension until all fines are paid in full.

Citation Appeals
If you feel you have received a parking citation in error, you are welcome to appeal it. Please review the policies and procedures prior to filing your appeal. Appeals can only be submitted via Rydin Parking Management System.
The Parking Appeals Committee is responsible for reviewing appeals from students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Community members at Touro University Nevada have the right to appeal parking citations. Appeals must be received no later than 11:59 PM PST on the 14th calendar day after receiving the citation. The operation of a motor vehicle on campus constitutes implied consent for responsibility for parking violations. The Parking Appeals Committee will handle all appeals within 30 calendar days of their receipt. The committee will meet every thirty calendar days from their last meeting to hear parking appeals that have been submitted through the Rydin system. After reviewing the appeal, the members will decide if the appeal will be accepted, rejected, or downgraded. A notification of the Appeal Committee’s decision will be emailed through the Rydin system to the individual at the conclusion of the Appeal Committee meeting.
