Record 72 Medical Students Match to Nevada Residencies

A record 72 Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine graduates will remain in Nevada, significantly strengthening the state’s healthcare system with the majority of students going into Southern Nevada programs. This represents a 31% increase from the Class of 2025. Thirty-seven percent of these future Nevada doctors will be working in primary care, with more than 10% going in psychiatry.

Dr. Marlon is the Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer at Vegas Stronger, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to reduce homelessness and addiction. His expertise will be instrumental as Touro Nevada deepens its commitment to advancing behavioral health education.

Dr. Mitchell D. Forman, DO, FACR, FACOI, MACP, FRCP was the founding dean of Touro University Nevada’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. We are deeply saddened at the passing of a man whose impact reached far beyond his years. His dedication, wisdom, and quiet generosity shaped not only this university, but the countless students who walked its halls because of him.
