Touro University Appoints Jacqueline Beato as CEO of Nevada Campus
Dr. Alan Kadish, President of Touro University, has appointed Jacqueline Beato as Chief Executive Officer of Touro University Nevada effective February 2026.
For the past six months, her role at the Nevada campus was interim Chief Financial and Operating Officer. During this time, she oversaw key operational and financial functions and supported ongoing institutional initiatives. Her background makes her exceptionally well‑suited to lead a multifaceted higher education university campus.

Her commitment to excellence, innovation, and community impact aligns seamlessly with our mission and the future we are building together,” shared Dr. Kadish.
“From the start of my time with the university, I have embraced and championed its mission to provide outstanding academic programs and bolster Nevada’s healthcare workforce. In this new role, I look forward to supporting education initiatives that incorporate the latest technology, groundbreaking research, and forward‑thinking curricula that supports a stronger healthcare future for Nevada,” said Beato. “I am a long-term Las Vegas resident, and like many families, I have experienced the challenges of accessing healthcare from long wait times to limited specialty care and gaps in the patient experience. Now, in a role at an outstanding academic institution, I look forward to making substantial impact on the health of our community and to support our students on their path to success.”
This is a new leadership role for the university, created to provide dedicated executive leadership for the campus and to guide its vision, strategy, and long‑term growth. She will be leading several departments that are essential to campus operations, communications, and development. Working in tandem with Dr. Patricia Salkin, Provost & Chief Academic Officer, who continues to steward the university’s academic vision and scholarly excellence.

With more than 20 years of finance and operational experience, including leadership roles within Fortune 500 organizations, Beato brings a proven track record of driving strategic growth and operational excellence. Before joining Touro University Nevada she was the Chief Operation Officer at Live Nation Concerts where she partnered with the CEO on business strategy and growth planning. Prior to that she worked over a decade at Caesars Entertainment Corporation, where she served as the Senior Vice President of Finance & Treasurer, and financed multiple new builds that included developments on the Las Vegas strip. Beato earned an MBA from Harvard Business school and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Miami.
