Dr. Sady began his medical career at the age of 18 years old at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield Massachusetts, a top 100 hospital in the country. He worked in several departments including dietary, medical/surgical units, and radiology over a period of seven years. In 1995 he was accepted to the Springfield College/ Baystate Medical Center Physician Assistant program. He graduated, received his Bachelor of Science degree, and became NCCPA board certified in 1998. He was then accepted in 1998 to the Alderson-Broaddus College Emergency Medicine PA residency, Master’s Degree program, associated with West Virginia University’s level one trauma center in Morgantown, WV. Dr. Sady completed the program in 2000, and received a Master’s of Medical Science Degree with Emphasis in Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Sady began practicing in Las Vegas Nevada in 1998 in emergency medicine for the Valley Health System. In 2002 he transitioned to primary care. From 2004 until 2008 Dr. Sady owned and operated his own family practice medical center. From 2009 through 2014 he worked at Southwest Medical Associates in the Urgent Care. Dr. Sady joined Touro University as full time PA faculty in 2011.

In 2018 Dr. Sady completed a Doctor of Medical Sciences degree at the University of Lynchburg, Virginia. He was a graduate of the inaugural class with many other PA leaders from across the country. Dr. Sady has been a board member and President of the Nevada Academy of Physician Assistants, a Director at Large of PAFT, and served on the AAPA task force for OTP. In 2019 Dr. Sady was awarded Distinguished Fellow status from the AAPA for his service to the profession. Less than two percent of the PA profession have been awarded this distinction.

Dr. Sady practices medicine on the Touro University Nevada Mobile Healthcare Unit, which provides free care for the underserved, and regularly precepts students. He has taught ENT, Cardiology, Oncology, Emergency Medicine, GI, Physical Exam, and Clinical Procedures. Dr. Sady continues to advocate for the PA profession at the state and national levels.

  • Created terms and policy at the national level for Optimal Team Practice
  • Efforts culminated in Optimal Team Practice being voted into national policy for AAPA and profession, and was supported by other national PA orgs including NCCPA and PAEA

Assistant Professor – full time faculty

  • Act as faculty advisor, participate in student promotion committee meetings, participate in university wide team based learning events, participated in ARC-accreditation self-study and evaluation 2014, interview PA candidates and participate on the PA executive admissions committee.
  • Responsible for teaching emergency medicine, cardiology, HEENT, pediatrics, pulmonary medicine, oncology, and GI. Also team teach in surgical labs, physical diagnosis labs, medical interviewing labs, and OSCE lab exercises and testing. Responsible for numerous case based learning exercises.
  • Have initiated new family practice and ICU/internal med rotation sites for PA students. Made contact with a Massachusetts hospital and healthcare company to start emergency medicine rotations for students in 2020.

Additional task - Technical Director 2011-2018

  • Responsible for investigating and implementing four software platforms for the program including curriculum mapping, clinical tracking, electronic testing software, and clinical augmentation software. Have 600+ hours coordinating software research, FERPA compliance, university IT hardware and software preparations, student training, faculty training, and provided program specific configurations of all four platforms. Led contract negotiations for all four platforms. Continuously work with students, faculty, proctors, and IT to address ongoing maintenance and improvement of systems.
  • 2017 Upgraded Emedley suite, dashboards, and reporting and upgraded to ecurriculum 3.0. Led implementation, scheduled training, and acquired budget approval for project
  • 2017 Led initiative to upgrade mobile healthcare unit computers to Microsoft Surface Pro 4s. Worked with IT, and worked on budget.

  • Practiced emergency walk in care for large HMO population. Used Touchworks EMR, Synapse radiology software, coding software, and internet EBM services.
  • Used Ct scan, US, rapid diagnostic labs, and xray daily
  • Repeatedly recognized for exceptional performance by my direct management and peers, and regularly had patient satisfaction levels as high as 96%.

2004-2008 Santa Rosa Medical Center

  • Managed and Owned Family Practice Medical Center. Responsible for staff management, training office manager, medical and business licensing, tracking expenses and statistical data, implementing office policies, teaching other providers about charting and billing/production, QA for OSHA requirements and standards, implementing computer technology, scheduling providers and staff, and overseeing patient care.
