Curriculum

The DPA curriculum complements and builds on entry-level PA education, designed to prepare graduate PAs for specialized roles in healthcare across four doctoral track options: Clinical Medicine/Surgery, Medical Education, Behavioral Health, and Healthcare Administration. The program offers a three-semester Standard Curriculum Pathway or a two-semester Individualized Program Curriculum Pathway for qualifying DPA students.

Through rigorous graduate-level coursework and a track-aligned Capstone Doctoral Project, students develop advanced competencies for evidence-based practice, research methodology, and scholarly inquiry aligned with the program's goals and outcomes.

Requirements Overview

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in physician assistant studies or a similar program
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Licensure, NCCPA certification or Emeritus status
  • Submit one letter of recommendation

All applicants must complete a Touro application and submit a $75 nonrefundable application fee.
