Doctor of Physician Assistant

The Doctor of Physician Assistant program at Touro Nevada is designed to serve the needs of Post Professional candidates who have been practicing in any area of medicine, surgery, or medical education. The program prepares graduates to utilize their specialized area of expertise with honed research skills to practice in a contemporary healthcare field and prepares graduates to take leadership roles as advanced practitioners in their fields, researchers, and educators.

The Doctor of Physician Assistant program is designed to prepare the graduate for various job opportunities.  Although the emphasis is on primary care, the graduate is encouraged to pursue any area of interest they may have.

Admission Requirements

Requirements Overview

    • Master’s degree in physician assistant studies or similar program
    • Minimum 3.4 cumulative GPA
    • NCCPA certification or Emeritus status
    • Minimum 2 years clinical practice / experience
    • Submit two letters of recommendation

Primary Application

All applicants must complete a Touro application and submit a $75 nonrefundable application fee.
