How to Become a Clinical Site or Preceptor

Clinical Sites and Preceptors play a vital role for our students in the Osteopathic Medicine, Nursing, Physician Assistant Studies, Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy programs. The clinical setting synthesizes concepts and application of principles for quality health care delivery. Students work closely with preceptors, progressively developing the skills and clinical judgment necessary. Share your knowledge and skills with students and help students apply classroom knowledge and concepts to real-world situations.

How to Become a Clinical Site for Touro Nevada Students

If you are interested in becoming a clinical site for Touro University Nevada students, please contact the Dean of the College of Health and Human Services for the programs of Nursing, Physician Assistant, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy, and the Dean of the College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical students. There is no cost to become a clinical site. Once an affiliation agreement is completed, students will then start the process of credentialing providers and be scheduled to rotate at the facility under the supervision of a precepting provider.
