Start Biography

Tyler has been in Las Vegas since 2014 where he completed his Master’s in Education and Curriculum Development with an emphasis on secondary physical science, spent 6 years teaching for the Clark County School District, and had professional training as an Airborne Astronomy Ambassador for SETI and NASA aboard their SOFIA aircraft.

Prior to relocating to the desert, Tyler came from Colorado, where he finished his ACS certified B.S. in Chemistry with a minor in Astrophysics at CU Denver. Tyler has been fascinated with science and learning since a young age and has over a decade and a half of career educational experience in everything from directorial summer camp positions to classroom teaching. He looks forward to applying this experience to help students get the most out of their time at Touro through metacognition and proven learning science.
