Touro University Nevada (TUN) is pleased to announce its annual Research Fellowship program for summer 2017, open to Nevada undergraduate students enrolled in an accredited college program. Selected students will receive a $1,500 stipend for participating in the program.

Touro University Nevada Receives $1.2 Million-Dollar Grant to Launch Geriatric Medicine Fellowship
Touro University Nevada is pleased to announce it has received a $1.2 million dollar grant from Governor Brian Sandoval’s executive budget. The grant will fund the development of a one-year geriatric medicine fellowship program that will graduate four fellows per year. The university plans to have the first fellows in place by July 2017.
Touro University Nevada Unveils 2nd Mobile Healthcare Clinic to Serve Opportunity Village
Touro University Nevada and Opportunity Village alongside faculty, staff and students, community partners, alumni and others unveiled the university’s second mobile healthcare clinic during a press conference held Thursday, November 10. The unveiling also featured an announcement of a $1.5 million-dollar donation from the Engelstad Family Foundation to fund the staffing and operations of the clinic.

2015 Summer Research Fellowship
Touro University Nevada (TUN) is again offering a Summer Research Fellowship program. The fellowship is available to Nevada residents who are undergraduate students enrolled in an accredited college program. The aim of this program is to expose undergraduate students to research including biomedical, clinical, epidemiological and educational research. The deadline is April 24, 2015 for submitting a TUN Summer 2015 Research Fellowship Application.

Touro University Nevada (TUN) will host its third annual “Season of Lights” event and silent auction at the Eglet Advocacy Center. Funds raised from this event are awarded to families in the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities to help offset the cost of treatment services so finances are not a barrier to provide the much-needed care their children need. For many families, a diagnosis of Autism can be life-altering and comes with considerable costs for services.
