The Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Class of 2020 achieved a 100% residency placement during Match Week as fourth-year medical students from across the country learned where they will do their residencies.

“I am so proud of all the students who make up the Class of 2020, especially considering the times we live in today and the uncharted waters we’re collectively navigating in light of the Coronavirus pandemic,” said Dr. Wolfgang Gilliar, Dean of the College of Osteopathic Medicine. “In an age when there continues to be a spotlight on the medical and healthcare industry, we are grateful for our students who have remained laser-focused and driven in their pursuit of graduate medical school and who will contribute to the well-being and greater good of humanity.”

Dr. Gilliar expressed significant pride in the nearly 40 students who will complete their residencies in the Silver State and meet local and growing demand for healthcare providers.

“This year, we applaud these remarkable students who will soon embark on the next phase of their medical career and make their mark amongst like-minded medical professionals right here in Nevada and at dozens of prominent medical institutions across the country,” he said.
