Tracey Johnson-Glover, DNP, MSN Ed, RN
Dr. Tracey Johnson-Glover has been a nurse for 17 years and has worked primarily in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Mental Health, and Community Health. She has six years of teaching in clinical settings, in person and online. At Touro University Nevada, she currently teaches in the Master of Nursing (MSN) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs with a focus on Community and Global Health.
Dr. Johnson-Glover completed her DNP with a focus in Transcultural Nursing at Duquesne University in Pittsburg. With special training in transcultural care and effective communication with the LGBTQIA+ community, she will have the opportunity to share with students and increase cultural sensitivity in healthcare and assist in nursing research projects. Dr. Johnson-Glover’s mission is to ensure everyone receives equitable care and to plan, educate and execute evidence-based research into practice, as demonstrated by her research projects in pharmacogenomics and Hereditary ATTR amyloidosis. Her passion and commitment to serving others, particularly the underserved and disenfranchised, is one of the key qualities that motivate her to look for opportunities to increase culturally congruent care and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
