Jennifer Obodai, MS, PhD
Dr. Obodai is originally from Pennsylvania and moved to Nevada in 2013. She has a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, a Master of Chemical and Life Sciences, and a Doctorate in Leadership of Higher Ed. Her research interests include synchronous instruction in online learning as related to student engagement and pass rates, as well as motivation, help-seeking behaviors, and self-regulated learning. Dr. Obodai has spent 14+ years working in education. She taught for 12 of those years as a middle and high school science teacher. She also was a club and high school swim coach during her last few years of teaching. Dr. Obodai also taught biology and chemistry courses for nursing and premed students as an adjunct faculty member at Nevada State College for 2 years. Dr. Obodai enjoys working at TUN because she gets to work with graduate students from various health science and education programs to help them navigate life and academics throughout their individual educational and professional journey. When she isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, singing, trying out various classes at the gym, and watching reality TV. She also enjoys traveling to see family and friends.
