Isaac Minkoff
Isaac Minkoff started his role at Touro in September of 2023. Isaac focuses on building partnerships and relationships with the Las Vegas Valley’s top foundations, donors, and organizations and works on various campaigns to help realize Touro’s mission through increased philanthropic investment. Isaac holds both a Master of Public Policy and a Master Jewish Professional Leadership from Brandeis University’s Heller School and Hornstein Program. He earned his bachelor’s degree in philosophy and communication rhetoric from University of Pittsburgh.
Isaac began his career with the Hershey Company, where he managed $2.8 million in product sales during his first year. Seeking more impactful work, Isaac transitioned to the nonprofit space at Hillel Jewish University Center of Pittsburgh. There, Isaac designed, recruited for, marketed, lead, and taught a variety of immersive educational programs for undergraduates on and in Israel and the Palestinian Territories. Isaac produced development marketing materials for Hillel’s donors. While pursuing his master’s degrees, Isaac was awarded two research grants from the Crown Middle East and Schusterman Israel research centers at Brandeis. These grants enabled Isaac to conduct his graduate fieldwork in Tel Aviv with the Jewish Institute for National Security of America while studying in a modern Hebrew immersion program. Isaac wrote his graduate policy capstone on addressing the American West’s water crisis through market incentives and public, private, and nonprofit collaboration domestically and internationally with Israeli firms and government bodies.
Isaac moved to Nevada in 2023 when his wife, Rachel, started in Touro’s DO program. Isaac and Rachel live in Henderson with their two dogs, Groucho and Puah. Isaac is passionate about the Jewish community, exploring Vegas’s food scene, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and outdoorsmanship.
