Understanding Anti-Asian Violence in America

The Touro Nevada Stands for Justice committee invites you to a presentation on Understanding Anti-Asian Violence in America featuring Dr. Mark Padoongpatt and Dr. Constancio Arnaldo, both faculty in Asian American Studies at UNLV.  This presentation will discuss the history of anti-Asian violence as well as examine how the pandemic has led to an uptick in hate crimes including the Atlanta murders.  The presenters will discuss what is currently being done to combat these crimes and suggestions on moving forward.
