This two hour category 1 (ACCME) or 1A AOA live CME event is designed for healthcare professionals to be aware of the effects of various marijuana based substances on patients as well as legal implications. As a result attendees should be able to:

  • Enumerate the requirements to be completed before recommending medical marijuana to any patient
  • Distinguish difference between CBD and THC
  • Be aware of complications of patients on prescription medications and use of medical marijuana

This event does not meet the Opioid, pain management or addiction requirement for licensing.
