  • M.S. in Genetics, Laval University, Canada
  • PhD in Neuroscience, Laval University, Canada
  • Postdoctoral training in human neuropathology and another in signal transduction at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia
    -Her research focus has been on neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric diseases
  • Gross anatomy and neuroscience for the DO, PA, DPT and OT programs
  • Course director of gross anatomy and embryology, scientific communication and advanced study skills for the MHS program
  • Chair of the Graduate Affairs Committee for the MHS program
  • Neuropathological Correlates of Olfactory Deficits in Schizophrenia

  • Over her career, Dr Rioux has been PI and Co-PI on several grants that totaled almost $600,000

  • Dr. Rioux was recipient of several studentships and fellowships from both Canadian and American governmental Agency including MRC and NIH
  • She received the Goldberger/Boyle/Levine Endowment Faculty Award for her outstanding contribution to the department of Neurobiology & Anatomy at Drexel University School of Medicine in 2006
