Mindy Renfro, PT, PhD, DPT is a physical therapist, educator and researcher with a great love for public outreach and community service. Her areas of focus include geriatrics, public health, and neurology with a research agenda in fall prevention, evidence-based programming and translation of evidence for special populations. Dr. Renfro works closely with the American Physical Therapy Association's (APTA), APTA's Academy of Geriatric Physical Therapy, the National Council on Aging (NCOA) and was an invited member of the CDC's Fall Expert Panel. She is rejoining the "NV Goes Falls Free" chapter of the NCOA's Falls Free initiative and the NV chapter of the APTA. Originally from Boston, Mindy moved back to Nevada from Montana where she and her husband Tim have five children and four grandchildren.
