The College of Health and Human Services (CHHS) was established in 2005 and includes the School of Education, the School of Nursing, the School of Occupational Therapy, and the School of Physical Therapy.
CHHS offers several first-ever programs of their kind in the state. The School of Nursing was the first private, non-profit academic institution to offer pre-licensure nursing education in the state, and the first to offer the Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Nevada. The School of Occupational Therapy is the first and only occupational therapy program in the state.
Alongside the College of Health and Human Services is the College of Medicine which includes Osteopathic Medicine and the School of Physician Assistant Studies. Together, there is fertile ground for interdisciplinary studies and collaborative learning.
