Start Biography

My name is Kyle Mefferd, and I’m the Assistant Director of OASIS. My passion for the cognitive sciences, academic motivation, and self-regulation drive me to support students as they pursue strategies for learning content. With a masters in kinesiology (biomechanics emphasis), and now four years into pursuing a Ph.D. in educational psychology, I am equipped to assist students in finding learning methods that work best for them. I am always happy to help! When not at Touro University Nevada, you can find me chasing my children, reading, and fishing. Usually not all at the same time.
