The provider network is Cigna. Plan providers can be found in their directory. There is no coverage available for a spouse, domestic partner, and/or children under the 2018-2019 student health insurance plan.
Students who wish to opt out of the student health insurance plan have the option to opt out before every new term.
The requirements to opt out of the student health insurance with a private plan are the following:
- Must have coverage in Nevada
- Deductible of $3,000.00 or less
- Plan/Lifetime maximum must be unlimited
- Active coverage for the entire school year
Students with the following types of health insurance coverage do not need to meet the above requirements:

New students may opt out of the student health insurance with out of state Medicaid with the understanding that the student will switch to Nevada Medicaid once they are living in Nevada. Students who fail to update their record will be charged for the student health insurance.
To get your student health insurance card, our plan administrator, Relation Insurance Services, requires that students create an account and then a password. Once the account and password are created, the student would have access to printing their ID card, accessing their 1095-B insurance document, view claims status, and more. The student is responsible for setting up that account with Relation. No one besides the student should know their password for the Relation site. The step by step directions for setting up an account are below:
