On Wednesday, July 29 the university welcomed its newest class of DO students. 135 future doctors kicked off a three-day orientation that began their medical school training.

The fellowship is available to Nevada residents who are undergraduate students enrolled in an accredited college program. The aim of this program is to expose undergraduate students to research including biomedical, clinical, epidemiological and educational research. The deadline is April 24, 2015 for submitting a TUN Summer 2015 Research Fellowship Application.

Funds raised from this event are awarded to families in the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities to help offset the cost of treatment services so finances are not a barrier to provide the much-needed care their children need. For many families, a diagnosis of Autism can be life-altering and comes with considerable costs for services.

Forman, DO, FACOI, FACP, FACR to Mastership in the American College of Physicians. Dr. Forman becomes the first practicing physician in the state of Nevada to receive this honor. The first Mastership in the ACP was presented in 1923.
