Start Biography

Joanne Muellenbach, MLS, D-AHIP, has been a professional librarian for more than 25 years. After graduating with a Master of Arts in Library Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, she worked as a medical librarian in Madison, as an information services librarian in Denver, and as a founding library director for three new medical schools in Northern Ontario, Canada, Northeastern Pennsylvania, and Las Vegas, before coming to Touro University Nevada. She was named Director of the Jay Sexter Library in March 2018 and is also an Associate Professor at TUN. She is currently a member of the Association of Academic Health Sciences Libraries, the Medical Library Association and the Northern California and Nevada Medical Libraries Group.
