Michael "Mike" Benjamin
I am a retired Correctional Officer with 19 years of service in the California Department Of Corrections And Rehabilitation. I worked my entire career at the Correctional Training Facility, also known as "Soledad Prison" located in Monterey County.
Previously, I served in the U.S. Navy as a Damage Controlman, 3rd Class Petty Officer aboard the U.S.S. Cayuga (LST-1186), a now de-commissioned amphibious tank transport ship that supported the Marine Corps.
I moved from California, where I was born and raised, to Henderson, Nevada soon after retiring from the Department Of Corrections.
