DESCRIPTION:The Touro Nevada Department of Research welcomes seminar speaker Dr. Lisa A. Razzano,&nbsp;Associate Dean for Research and Professor of Medicine at Touro University Nevada, for a presentation on Translational Health Research: Blocks &amp; Benefits. This presentation will focus on the ways that community health benefits from translation of research into practice. Discussion focuses on findings from a longitudinal community health study used as the foundation for multi-modal health literacy activities aimed at promoting patient engagement and improving health outcomes. Finally, the value of workforce development in successful community integrated clinical health operations will be explored. This seminar is open to Touro University Nevada students, faculty, and staff. Zoom details will be distributed via email prior to the event.306408
