Secondary Education

Students study the curriculum and methods of teaching secondary (grades 7-12) school students in the areas of mathematics and science. They learn to design lessons, both daily and unit, based upon the curriculum and standards of their secondary educational endorsement. The students are responsible for researching and analyzing new theories in a specific area of endorsement. The degree has a large field experience component where students put some of these designs into practice. Twenty-seven of the required 36 credits are offered at Touro University Nevada. The remaining nine credits are graduate level transfer credits in either math or science.
